It seems like I'm stuck in life right now. I'm dropped out of high school, trying to get my GED, also trying to get a job, but I can't seem to do either because my motivation is lacking. Don't get me wrong. I'm a very good person with good morales. I just can't make myself do what I want to do. I was just introduced to the idea of the Job Corps, and it looks intriguing. As far as I can tell, it's a place that can help you with your GED/High School diploma, as well as job training. I'm thinking it might be a great place for me, being surrounded by highly motivated people could force me to work harder. I just don't know what to do. One of the locations I'm looking at is the Sacramento Job Corps. Their location has more careers I'm interested in. I live in the Bay Area, so my choices are Sac, San Jose, and Treasure Island. Another reason I'm interested in sac, not that's it's related to the Job Corps, is that this girl I like lives up there. Which brings me to my next question, what's the free time like at the Job Corps? Is it like regular school where you can do what you want on the weekends? Any insight into any of this is highly appreciated. This is possibly life changing. I need help.

How to deal with problems when you have noone to talk to?

Girl Im right there with you! The few times I did try talking to my "friends" or family they just said really stupid things and Im sure it caught many off guard to see that such a "happy" person wasn't so "happy". Anyhow like you I felt the same anxiety of having a mental break down and as cheesy as it may sound to you the only person who has helped me out was God and Jesus. I started attending a great contemporary church solo because the old school churches will not do it for you if you are young. After going I couldnt get enough of that peaceful feeling so I even switched my radio station over to KSBJ (local Worship station) that plays some of the most inspiring songs and has some great inspiring stories on a daily basis. Its difficult at times to get up and go to church or listen to that station-especially when I am very sad or angry but those are the times that we have to push ourselves the most to seek God. Once you do you will find a peace and ask yourself how did you consider doing something else and how could you possibly lived with out Christ in your life. Im not going to tell you that its easy because its not...at this very moment I am going through somethings that I wish I could share with another human being just to hear some input and comfort, but I find my comfort through worship songs and now joining groups with people who are going through similar situations. I also starting writing in a private blog, but I made it more like a letter as if I was talking to my "best friend" just to help me release some of those feelings and cry with out having to explain myself or feel weak. The most expendable players are Chuck James (Owings is better and should be used), Greene, Patterson and Loney. You already have 2 quality SS and you're set at 1st for a coule of years with Giambi & Tex. Patterson is SB's and nothing else worth keeping. I would try to package any/all of them to bring in some pitching help. A 2-for-1 or 3-for-1 shoudl really help your staff without giving any high quality guys away if you find the right team with needs where you have surplus players.

Don't have a horse since we retired but for the 20 years that we did I would ride 5 or 6 days a week. Always gave my horse a day off just to be lazy. During the summer when we 'd go to shows they'd get 2 or 3 days off after the show.....sort depending on the weather.....really hot days they'd get the 3 days off. I did a lot of trail riding.

Look man, I've been there. Most teenage guys have been there. There are definitely good ways to get friends who aren't idiots and burn-outs. My freshman year was like that too. My friends were idiots and there was nobody that got me.(as nerdy as it sounds) I joined the marching band, it was definitely a good step. If you say you enjoy music, you should give it a shot. People in the band are usually the nicest people you'll meet in the school. It's a good way to make friends who aren't all stuck up and high school clones. And who knows, I'm sure you will meet some cute girls too. I would say that would be a good thing to do, it worked for me!

I've been to all of them, really like eastern Europe. A few weeks in Czech Rep (Brno and near Prague), a few months in Slovakia (all over the place, about 10 times over the years), a few months in Poland (Sosnowiec) and only daytrips to Hungary (Budapest and Gyor) Which country would be your favourite? What dye to use to fix orange hair?

I've had the same thing happen. I have dyed my hair a lot. I haven't had my natural color for over 15 years. A burgundy brown. covers the orange really well and can be dyed over really well. A dark brown also. If you want lighter I think you could get it just be cautious of stuff that is too red because you may just end up with a different shade of orange. I'm from the states but if you go to a hair salon or hair salon store (Sallys is what we have here) They can really help point out what's best for your hair. I've had a hysterectomy two years ago. The doctor kept my ovaries. The day after my surgery my uterine artery ruptured. I had to have four blood transfusions and went for my second surgery to repair the artery. I first of all want to say how blessed I'm still here and count my blessing each day. I woke up ped out on the hospital floor on my way to the bathroom. It was like a nightmare when I came to. After all that said my question is has anyone else have a artery rupture like mine? My friend will be having a hysterectomy in the morning and is really scared what happen to me will happen to her. I told her that it was a rare case something that severe happens but it does. All i can say is, I had the same question, and people recommended I get a laptop instead of a desktop, and I'm really glad I did cause I've had to move a couple times, and that made it much easier. Also because I could take it with me on trips or when I spent a summer with a friend. It also takes up less space and you can move it to a different room easily.

No, I believe that it is their right to wear the protest ribbons. What is happening in China and Tibet is not okay and it's a violation of human rights. I believe that everyone attending and even those who aren't should wear those bands because it's displaying their displeasure without harming anyone or anything. They aren't even affecting the Olympic Games, just protesting the host country's actions and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It's especially good for an athlete to do this because they will get attention and drag these issues more into the spotlight, which must happen if anything is ever going to change.

How do I reinstall windows XP while saving my old partitions, keeping all programs fully functional?

I've reinstalled windows XP Pro but opted to keep both my C and D partitions intact, thinking windows would only reinstall its system files etc. while keeping the rest of my system as it was. Although it did save my partitions, none of my programs are working. There's nothing in my start folder, nothing in 'All Programs' etc. It's a laptop, and needs a lot of drivers. I tried reinstalling the drivers but windows told me they already exist. Why then is nothing working as it should? How do I resurrect everything to prior working order? Thank you!

Screwdriver drill questions?

I have both a Black and Decker Power Driver electric hand held and a Dewalt 18v cordless and they're both great for their own purposes. The electric hand held I've had for about 12 yrs, and it's great for small and light work, ( it has the power to drive a sheetrock screw into a 2x4 but it would have to be recharged after 3 or 4 attempts) especially those 4 inch erfly anchors. You can do light drilling but your bits would have to have a 1/4 inch hex base.The 18v cordless is relatively new and prior to that I only had corded drills - I preferred the torque they supplied. I'm converted now after using the Dewalt - and it takes bits up to 1/2 inch, and the kit came with two batteries and a charger. I'm sorry to say I paid close to two hundred for the kit and it is now on sale at Lowe's for $119. I have drilled concrete with it just to see how it would do - but I prefer a hammer drill for jobs of that magnitude.

Both my mother and grandmother had cervical cancer and both ended up getting a hysterectomy after being treated in other ways that in the end didnt help. My last few paps have shown mild displasia which is usually a precursor to cervical cancer. I've been a few times to the doc having had laser surgery once and a few other treatments. I'm wondering if its all a lost cause and should I just have the hysterectomy and get it over with? I'm 38 and have 5 kids and no plans to have more. i'm divorced so no one to consider about my womb except myself. But surgery is dangerous itself and I do have my kids to think about. History tells me though that its a lost cause and will eventually lead to the hysterectomy anyway. What do you think. Go for it now or exhaust all other forms of treatment?

This is a terribly difficult call. We don't know what this child is like and what kind of family he comes from. Is he normally a good kid who have made a mistake, or is he a troubled child who may be trying to wiggle out of an occurrence he thought was cool? I can honestly say looking back I did some pretty stupid things as a 9 or 10 year old and I have a grandson who is the same age and does some pretty stupid things even with supervision. Once I stuck my finger in a light socket; another time we were playing with firecrackers putting them in cans and lighting them; and I do remember also a couple of times playing with matches. I wasn't a bad kid, I was unsupervised and on my own after school for a couple of hours. I had siblings and occasionally we just got bored and had nothing to do. My parents were terribly strict and had they found out I would have been black and blue from the beatings my father would have given me. So while I think what has happened with the fires is a terrible, horrible thing, I couldn't determine what the punishment should be. Imagine as a child having to live with that for the rest of your life. That would to me be sheer hell. As I grow older I feel more guilty about the things I have done in the past, and only wish I could go back and relive some of my life and make changes. This child has a long life to live with remorse.

I would remove that credit somehow, summer school possibly, and then take pre-calc. It's definitely worth it!! Adderall 10mg xr after having gastric byp?

I just started on Adderall xr 10 mg this morning. I'm 29, and just diagnosed with add. Took one when I woke up this morning, hoping I would jump out of bed with some energy...then got up about 45 minutes later. I feel absolutely no difference. Good, bad or indifferent. Though I have to admit, I don't know what I should be looking for....? So, I took a second one about 1.5 hours later. The doctor said to start off at 10 and then try taking 2 to see if I feel differently a few days before our next appointment (which is about a month away). Anyway, I'm just trying to figure out if the 10mg is just a weak dose, or if it might be my body chemistry. I had gastric byp in 2003 and I wonder if I'm not absorbing it? She said the gastric byp may make it less absorbed or more absorbed. I'm thinking less....should I try to sprinkle it on applesauce tomorrow? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks

Can a habitual offender of driving on a suspended license get some kind of permit for driving to school?

I have a suspended license from not paying child support. I have since then become a habitual offender of DWLS. I don't have any DUI's I go to school and to obgyn appointments for my pregnancy. Child support has reinstated my license but since I'm habitual I can't get my license. I have to go to school and to the Dr. and the only option I have is to drive. I am a Florida resident. I don't owe any more money but I just got another ticket. Is there a special permit I could mention to the Judge that might help me? Thank you.
