Best program to make DVD's?

I download a film here or there. I dont care what you say legal/illegal rubbish. I just want to know what is the best a fastest program to use to burn DVD's. I use DVD Flick which Encodes both video and audio. then puts them back together auther and finalizes before burning then burns but it takes nearly 2 hours to complete. i just need a program that doesn't bother with that it just gets the image and burns it. Any help?
