Which one laptop or desktop?

Way too much info to read thru here, dude. All i can say is, I had the same question, and people recommended I get a laptop instead of a desktop, and I'm really glad I did cause I've had to move a couple times, and that made it much easier. Also because I could take it with me on trips or when I spent a summer with a friend. It also takes up less space and you can move it to a different room easily.
