Computer is making noise.?

I wouldnt be over worried about the sounds that you describe as this is quite a common occurance especially with some Maxtor hard drives which creak and groan when working, And to be on the safe side why not invest in a backup system such as Acronis True image V10 it not expensive and with this you could backup your entire hard drive to either a second storage drive internal or external or backup to disc.
