I had a hysterectomy two years agoI?

I've had a hysterectomy two years ago. The doctor kept my ovaries. The day after my surgery my uterine artery ruptured. I had to have four blood transfusions and went for my second surgery to repair the artery. I first of all want to say how blessed I'm still here and count my blessing each day. I woke up ped out on the hospital floor on my way to the bathroom. It was like a nightmare when I came to. After all that said my question is has anyone else have a artery rupture like mine? My friend will be having a hysterectomy in the morning and is really scared what happen to me will happen to her. I told her that it was a rare case something that severe happens but it does. Is there any other way to comfort her? Thanks for your answers as always. Have a great night
