How do you burn paper to make it look like its from the 1700s?

Hey, yall i made postcards on notecards as if they are from the 1700s. a lot of ppl always like burn the paper somehow to make it look really old and stuff. i think some may have said that they put it in the oven but i have NO idea how to even do it lol so if some of you creative and smart people could tell me how to make it look realistically old and stuff, that would be great. also, what font from Microsoft publisher should i use to also add an awesome effect? thx yall!
