Possible Water Damage to Samsung SGH-A707 Phone

So my phone got wet (not drenched) from a little water. It turns on but on the screen all I see is the model number and then it goes to a crackle screen and then back to the model number. Does anyone know how to fix it, because my service provider cannot?
